Terms of Service

Acceptable Use: Users agree not to post illegal, harmful, or infringing content. You reserve the right to remove content violating these terms. All content is copyrighted by Eric Sipple. If you quote from or otherwise use things I've written here, at minimum, credit and link back. If you're reproducing the entire piece: don't. You need permission for that.

The comment section isn't something that gets much use, but I have zero tolerance for bad behavior, bigotry, transphobia, racism, and so on. Be awful, and it'll be the end of your time here.
Account Termination: Accounts may be suspended for misuse at the discretion of this author.

Data Collection: We collect analytics data via Google Analytics, and that data is never sold or given to any third party outside of GA4. Additionally, we collect emails only when you sign up for the newsletter. We send newsletter emails through Mailgun.
Usage: Analytics data is only used by the author to improve this site. Emails are never sold to third parties, given away, or shared in any manner. Your data stays here.
Third Parties: Embedded services (e.g., YouTube, social media) may collect data per their policies – anything I can shut off, I will, but there are often few options there.
User Rights: Visitors may request data deletion or opt out of cookies via browser settings.
Compliance: Aligns with GDPR/CCPA requirements for collecting personal data.
